Here is information to help you navigate your e-Learning platform and look up other information about your course once you have enrolled.

Locate your course venue

Here are the current course addresses and times in case you can’t find where to go to get to class.

Login to your e-Learning platform

Once you are enrolled in either the Cert III or Cert IV course in Carbon Management you will be sent a username and password to your e-Learning platform which is based on the internationally best selling Blackboard learning management system.
To log into your platform simply click here and the login page will appear in a new internet browser window. Simply enter your username and password and then click ‘Login’. Once in the e-Learning platform click on your course title as show in the picture.

Using your iPhone or iPad to access your course content

If you have an iPhone or iPad you can download the Blackboard App called ‘Mobile Learn’ from the App Store. Once you have installed the App, enter ‘Carbon Training International’ in the ‘Search for your school’ search bar and then select it. You will then be asked to enter your username and password to enter your course. This way you will be able to access your learning materials on the go.

Preparing for your course

Before you come to class make sure you log on to the e-Learning platform and read the section called ‘Getting Started’. This will show you how to navigate the e-Learning platform and more importantly give you some pre-course reading so that you will have lots of fuel for discussion on the first day of class.
You can find the getting started folder on the left hand side of the e-Learning platform once you click into your enrolled course as shown in the diagram below.

Things to bring

If you have your own laptop please bring it to class. Other than that all you need is a pen, lots of enthusiasm and a sense of humour. Lunch and morning and afternoon tea are also provided.
